My Rock

I was drawn to these rocks because of their mossy beauty and the strength they displayed.  Wave after wave, day after day the water beat against these rocks and they didn’t even flinch.   After I took this picture, Laurie and I went down to the rocks to look for shells to take home as souvenirs.  We found many shells but what we were not expecting was the little guys living in the shells.   We only took home a couple of empty shells that day and a reminder of what a great refuge the rocks make for the vulnerable little guys living there.   No wonder the psalmist wrote, “my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,”

When the world becomes a big scary place for you, remember to locate the Rock and take refuge.  I promise you, He will stand up to the abuse the worldly waves bring. You will always be safe next to Him.
